Re : The cost of your Hellfest

You can bring bottles in with no cap on it (you have to hide the cap somewhere so "they" cannot find it at the entrance, and I think there must be no alcohol in it, though, just fruit juice or water, to be confirmed) , or buy a pitcher inside (if my memories are good, beer was at €5 for a pint) and fill it in at the campsite before each "trip" back! As for food, you can also bring cold sandwiches, or buy good stuff (depending on the vendor), for €7 you can get filled if you're an upper-average eater. Enjoy your festival (I'm sure you will wink )!

Hey, everyone!!

This is a very interesting topic and since we're going to the festival for the first time, I'd like to ask for some price references from last year...? Much like the first post of this thread.
It would be very helpful to know at least last year's prices for drinks and food on the festival-area since:
---> a) the Festival FAQ states that we CANNOT bring our own beverages into the festival-area and
---> b) the FAQ states that we CANNOT grill on the camping grounds.

If the FAQ statements are true, that means warm food and alcohol has to be bought in the festival area, which means high prices.
Honestly I'm shocked, since my festival experience (I admit, mostly in Germany) would allow us to grill on an elevated barbecue at the camp-site and take at least tetrapaks into the fest-area, when we go see the bands...

Look forward to your answers wink

But I suppose I can bring my own beer at the CAMPING, can't I?

And @Kikigege, there is a big difference between Hellfest, and say e.g. Wacken or RockHard. I know how German festivals are, been to a lot of them. (mostly to them) but this will be my first Hellfest as well.

You won't regret it, believe me.

On verra. We'll see.

So far I've never done any French festivals. It'll be a première for me. I'm actually curious, and most of all, I'm looking forward to it! Thank goodness it's now less than 90 days before Hellfest!

But first, RockHard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany!
